Fresh LP Gas launched “Fueling Mentality” to challenge a deeply rooted social norm in Bangladesh—the belief that cooking and household responsibilities belong only to women.

As a brand closely connected to everyday household life, Fresh LP took the conversation beyond the kitchen and focused on something more meaningful: changing mentality. The campaign encouraged husbands and other family members to actively share household responsibilities, reinforcing the idea that stronger relationships are built through teamwork, care, and mutual respect.

Campaign Objective

The campaign aimed to challenge gender-based household roles, raise awareness about the emotional burden created by unequal responsibilities, make women feel seen and supported, and encourage families to build a culture of shared responsibility at home.

The Core Idea

Fresh LP fuels kitchens across Bangladesh, but with Fueling Mentality, the brand set out to fuel something bigger—a change in mindset.

The campaign was built around a simple belief: household work should not be defined by gender; it should be shared by the family.

Campaign Execution

The campaign began with a static post asking:

“কার হাতের রান্না খেয়ে বড় হয়েছেন?”

The question generated strong organic engagement, with thousands of people sharing emotional memories—most of them mentioning their mothers. This created the perfect context for the launch of the hero OVC.

The OVC portrayed a working couple where the husband, prompted by his daughter’s innocent question, realizes the imbalance at home and joins his wife in the kitchen. The story transformed cooking from an individual responsibility into a shared family moment.

The campaign carried the message:

“ঘরের কাজে হাত বাড়াই, সম্পর্কের গভীরতা বাড়াই।”

To ensure the message lived beyond the hero film, the campaign continued with three thematic reels, along with a series of static posts and stories. Each execution reinforced the same message—that household responsibilities belong to both husband and wife, not to one person alone.

A dedicated UGC engagement post further encouraged audiences to share moments where they helped their loved ones during Iftar and Sehri, turning the campaign message into real audience participation.

The campaign was strategically amplified across Facebook, YouTube, and Google Ads, with Facebook serving as the primary platform due to its strong relevance to Fresh LP’s target audience.

Campaign Impact

Fueling Mentality went beyond awareness and sparked a meaningful social conversation.

  • 79M+ OVC Views
  • 73K+ OVC Reactions
  • 32.6M+ Reel Views
  • 41K+ Reel Reactions
  • 79.8M+ Total Campaign Reach
  • 114.4M+ Total Campaign Views

The strongest proof of impact came through the audience itself. Hundreds of people organically shared moments of helping their mothers and wives, demonstrating that the campaign message had moved beyond content and into everyday behaviour.

Despite addressing a deeply rooted social norm, the campaign received no significant negative audience response, reflecting how naturally and authentically the message connected with people.

Through Fueling Mentality, Fresh LP successfully evolved from simply fueling kitchens to fueling conversations, shared responsibility, and positive change within Bangladeshi households.
